We also celebrate the release of his younger sibling’s new album, ILLA J’s “YANCEY BOYS”. Three years after his passing, his beats are in continued use, as in the case of the “YANCEY BOYS” album and notable projects like Q-Tip’s latest solo release. FRAN BOOGIE will be our host and master of ceremonies. DJ sets by Sake 1 and Prince Aries of Distortion2Static fam, but a special dedication set to the late great producer, known to the world as J DILLA AKA JAY DEE AKA JAMES YANCEY, will be provided by the world famouse beat junky, DJ RHETTMATIC.
