Here’s a clip of a real chill song Nelly Furtado & K’naan collabed on a couple years back called, “Going Away”. This one didn’t get much exposure so I figured i’d re-post.
Diggers of underground hip hop may have heard this track months back, However this joint def deserves more rotations. Jay Electronica & Just Blaze teamed up for this song, “Exhibit A (transformations)”. Def an ill track showcasing pure lyricism & genius production. Just Blaze includes sound bites from an Ernest Hemingway biography as well as audio from the classic movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Tracks like this re-ignite my optimism in the future of hip hop.
