JONAH’S OFFICIAL RECORD RELEASE PARTY!
“So Timeless”, originally known as “Timeless” in the San Francisco Bay Area, was established in 2004 by Johnny “Jonah” Johnson. “So Timeless” is now a complete production team, having morphed from its roots as a live band. The collection of artists and musicians was assembled with the purpose of providing live entertainment for shows, benefit concerts, weddings, festivals, etc; and with the goal to produce albums throughout different genres of music. Originally, Timeless started with a team of about 10 musicians, and now “So Timeless” has grown to become more than double that size. “So Timeless” carries their amazing, original music from an assortment of genres, and also play most popular cover tunes in the same passion as the original artists. These cover tunes range from Stevie Wonder, Bobby Caldwell, Earth Wind and Fire, to today’s music from Gnarles Barkeley, Musiq Soul Child, Outkast, and Maxwell.
111 Minna will also be showing a special collection of San Francisco’s innovators in the urban art scene. truly big names in the game, you won’t see a collection curated like this for the rest of your life! such artist as: David Choong Lee, MARS-1, Jeremy Fish, Eric Bailey, Mike Giant, and so many more!

wuddup wuddup wuddup wuddup! my fam, we just got back from our NY sbbatical and we are so stoked and on fire! this Listening Lounge couldn’t arrive at a better time! The reason why the sub-title for this months Listening Lounge is “Slept On” is because we were so inspired by the DJs we got to see in NY (namely: Premiere, Neil Armstrong, DJ Scratch, Rich Medina & Q-Tip)–we never heard one commercial joint! even if it was one they produced! for a whole week’s worth of going out! and we feel we need to remind the community, including ourselves, that for the most part, our crates only ever touch the tip of the iceberg because music is a living organism–always growing. we just need to keep up sometimes! so we’re digging deep this month and paying tribute to the SLEPT ON joints we all love and all the SLEPT ON joints we should love!
so we’re putting a group of real soulful dudes who’ve maintained that organic spirit and have customized it and tailored it to express who they are! check the flyer, its all you really need to know (BIG BIG BIG UPS to mr. Ronostalgia AKA Ron Chon for killing the Graphics this month, btw). but here it is anyway:
GOLDENCHYLD & TEEKO live performance (what does that mean, you ask!? well you gotta come see for yourself!)
PRINCE ARIES truly a great Hip-Hop historian, so you better sharpen your pencils and get your notebooks ready
PHILTERED SOUL when we started putting on live bands (pretty much day one) these were the guys we messed with first!!
and of course ME & XARIUSOUND fresh off a New York sabbatical, our heads are whirling right now! come see how it’ll seep into our sets.

Here’s a taste of Vin’s current solo project, THE REVEALING. A track called “bewithme” scored to a short animated film, “Beneathe the Rubber Tree” by Hanna Abi-Hanna. (so dope!)
